Cuppa with a Copper – Community Engagement Event.

Officers from Ilford Town Safer Neighbourhoods Team will be holding a “Cuppa with a Copper” community engagement event at Heron Court on Tuesday 14th April 2026 between 12:00pm and 2:00pm.

This event provides an opportunity for local residents, families, and members of the community to meet their local neighbourhood policing team in a relaxed and informal setting. Residents are encouraged to come along, have a cup of tea or coffee, and speak with officers about any local issues, concerns, or questions they may have regarding policing in the area.

The aim of the event is to strengthen relationships between the police and the community, listen to local concerns, and provide advice around crime prevention, community safety, and ongoing policing priorities within the ward.

Events like this are an important part of neighbourhood policing as they allow officers to engage directly with residents, gather feedback, and work together with the community to keep the area safe.

We warmly welcome local residents to attend and encourage you to bring along family members, friends, or neighbours who may also wish to speak with their local officers.
